  • Thermal conductivity

    Graphite has a high thermal conductivity, second only to silver, copper and aluminum, and is the only non-metallic material with high thermal conductivity. Therefore, it can dissipate the friction heat in time, thus reducing the temperature of the sealing end face, which is very necessary to improve its reliability and service life.

  • Lower coefficient of linear expansion

    Graphite has a low coefficient of linear expansion, which is about 1/2~1/4 of that of metal. when the temperature rises, its thermal deformation is small, which is favorable to keep the sealing end face parallel, and at the same time, it has good thermal stability, good heat resistance, cold resistance and thermal shock resistance.

  • Compression resilience

    Graphite seals have a certain compression resilience after processing and molding. When under pressure, the seal can be elastic deformation, fill the sealing gap, realize the tight seal. When the pressure is removed, the seals can quickly return to their original state, to maintain the stability of the sealing performance.
