Home Products Glass Industry / Graphite Mold for Hot Bending Glass Production
Hot bending glass is a hot bending glass product that places the cut flat glass in a hot bending mold designed according to the bending arc, and then heats the glass to soften it, and then presses the softened glass through the mold to form a specific curved surface. The hot bending mold is a key component in the production of hot bending glass, which is directly related to the surface finish, dimensional accuracy, production cost and efficiency of hot bending glass.

Therefore, the material selection of hot bending molds should meet the requirements of high high temperature bending strength, small high temperature creep, good high temperature oxidation resistance, no infiltration with glass, high thermal conductivity, easy processing and polishing, and suitable thermal expansion coefficient.

At present, graphite material has become the main mold material for hot bending of curved glass due to its comprehensive properties such as good thermal conductivity, easy processing and non-deformation.
Gripping, guiding, setting down and deflecting - our custom-tailored graphite components are specially developed to reliably transport your hot container glass over the entire production process. Our superior graphite materials ensure smooth production.
Take-out inserts are the first parts to contact the newly formed hot glass containers after the final blowing stage in the finishing mould. At this point, the glass is still very hot and easily damaged. A pair of inserts closes around the neck of each container, lifting them out of the mould and transferring them to the deadplate where the base of each container is cooled by air jets prior to being set down. The pick-up profile and finish of the inserts are custom designed to suit each particular container, having four main categories: crown, thread, underthread and bead.
Our take-out holders and inserts are specially designed to fit each application with a range of insert materials available.
Many container glass producers all over the world have selected our graphite for its performance and positive impact on their productivity.
Do not damage hot glass when touched
No adhesion in contact with molten glass
Resistant to thermal shocks and corrosion
Self-lubricating solutions
High hardness and resistance to wear
Outstanding oxidation resistance and long service life
Application-tailored thermal conductivity
Due to the above advantage, our graphite is therefore outstandingly suitable for machine components in the container glass industry and stop contamination as well as surface and mechanical damage.
Graphite is the ideal material for glass manufacturing due to its physical and chemical composition properties, especially in the industrial hollow glass and container glass industries. Our customized graphite components are specially developed to reliably transport your hot container glass over the entire production process: gipping, guiding, setting down and deflecting.
Our graphite material for hot glass handling has high strength, good durability, and excellent thermal properties that reduce mechanical damage. Our graphite blanks are ready to be machined into desired and requested finished products.
Our experienced designers, engineers can assist with designing insert drawings, and our experienced operators can make sure graphite blanks be machined into insert pairs to be precision.
Our graphite products for the container glass manufacturing includes: Conveyor channels, Blow molds, Grippers/inserts, Guide Ralls, Sliders, Contact elements, Distributors, Slide triangles.
